Antigen Expression: CD5 +; CD32 +; CD45R +
Comments: The NFS-5 C-1 cell line was derived from a lymphoma arising in a mouse inoculated with CAS- 2SM ecotropic murine leukemia virus.
The cells bear a pattern of markers consistent with identification as large pre-B lymphoblasts (Ly 17, CD32.
Ly 1, CD5.
Lyb 2, Ly 5(B220), CD45R).
They are negative for ThB, surface immunoglobulin (sIg) and Ia.
Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Modified Dulbecco's medium with 0.002 mg/ml transferrin and 0.05 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%
Temperature: 37.0°C
Subculturing: Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
NFS-5 C-1細(xì)胞Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Maintain cell concentration between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
Preservation: culture medium 95%; DMSO, 5%
Related Products: recommended serum:ATCC 30-2020
Recommended medium (without the additional supplements or serum described under ATCC Medium):ATCC 46-X
